Hyperia is a steel roller coaster located at Thorpe Park in England. Manufactured by Mack Rides, the hypercoaster opened as the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the United Kingdom on 24 May 2024, with a height of 236 feet (72 m) and a maximum speed that reaches 81 mph (130 km/h). It also features 4 inversions and was built on the site formerly occupied by Rocky Express. Hyperia suffered a series of setbacks during its inaugural few months, including an unexpected closure the day after its grand opening that lasted two and a half weeks.
