Casino Gardens

The Casino Park is a historic garden and sculpture park in the Belgian city of Sint-Niklaas. It is owned by Het Casino vzw, of the eponymous nearby concert hall, and is publicly accessible.

History: The park was inaugurated in 1853 and belonged to the building used for the music company Sint-Cecilia. In 1971, the city of Sint-Niklaas entered into an agreement with the owner to open the Casino Park to the public, provided that the city provides supervision. In 2018, the kiosk was restored from 1852, after which the rest of the English garden was maintained, where Flower Artist Daniel Ost and landscape architect Jan Pillen were assigned responsibility. In September 2020 the Casino Park was reopened, bronze artworks were placed.
