Heilige Drievuldigheidskapel
The chapel of the Holy Trinity is a chapel building located in the Kasteelstraat in the Flemish-Brabant municipality of Gooik, right opposite the house with number 47.
History: The chapel, in honor of the Holy Trinity and Saint Alena, was built by Theodore Van Der Eect in 1914, as can be derived from the inscription.
Architecture: This chapel is built out of brick and is located under a saddle roof, overgrown by bushes. The masonry in the side facades has been carefully worked out in a cross. The white painted wooden entrance door with bars is pointed arch shaped. On a stone in the point façade, reference is made to the principal Van der Eekt. In the chapel there is an altar with gate and also a sofa. The chapel is located on the route of the Holy Trinity procession, also called the horse procession of Kester.
