The Begijnhof chapel is a chapel in the Flemish-Brabant town of Overijse, located on the Begijnhof.

History: The Beguinage of Overijse was founded in 1264 and was dedicated to Our Lady. It fell under the Abbey of Hertogendal in Hamme-Mille. The beguinage was in financial difficulties and around 1650 it was done with the beguinage community. In the 18th century, attempts were made to restore beguine life, but this did not lead to lasting results. At the end of the 18th century, the beguinage had the status of God's house and could thus continue under Emperor Joseph II. After the French Revolution, the institution came to the Civil God Houses (from which the OCMW originated). Until 1965 the poor were taken in here but then the beguine houses were demolished. The cemetery was also partially cleared in the early 16th century and in the 20th century the whole disappeared. The source, called Beguijnenborre, remained. The chapel was first mentioned in 1509 but was probably built in the late 15th century. From 1941 restoration works took place.
