About

The bakery museum is a museum west of the church village of Ten Aard, belonging to Geel. It is located near the Mill van 't Veld at the place where the Worfthoeve (woft = willow) used to be. The collection contains objects related to the baker's craft, such as waffle irons, bread medals, hosty irons, ice cream, chocolate, marzipan and speculaa forms. In the bakery there are bakery machines and there is also a barn with a collection of carts that were used to transport grain to and flour from the mill. The museum was set up by Willy Goossens, who was a baker himself.
