The Saint-Hubertus Basilica, also referred to as Basilica of Saint-Hubert (official French name since 1927: Basilique Saint-Hubert, aka: Basilique des Saints-Pierre-et-Paul (de Saint-Hubert), original name: Église abbatiale Saint-Pierre) is a Belgian Roman Catholic basilica located in the Walloon city of Saint-Hubert. At the basilica is an abbey complex. The basilica has a length of 90 m and a width of 30 m.
She pairs a gothic interior to a baroque facade. The church took its present form between 1064 and 1700. In 1525 the old Romanesque church was lost in a fire and between 1526 and 1564 it was replaced by a church in Gothic style.
The towers date back to the middle of the 13th century. The current vault was built in 1683. The facade was built in its current form between 1700 and 1702.
At the top of the façade, the conversion of Saint-Hubertus was depicted in semi-high sculpture. To the left and right of the main window on the first floor of the façade are statues of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The basilica houses a number of art treasures related to the worship of St.
