The Church of the Holy Cross is a church in the Belgian village of Beveren near Roeselare. It is the church of the parish of the Holy Cross. She is known mainly for the popular devotion to Saint Antony (against animal diseases and the Saint Anthony fire, also known as zona) and Saint Donatus (a caller against thunder and lightning).

At the end of World War I, in July 1918, the church was destroyed by German aerial bombing; Only the tower remained without rushing.

The church was rebuilt in a yellow sandstone in the early 1920s as a gothic hall church. The church had the same orientation, but had moved slightly southward, so that the tower was now planted northeast. The reconstruction was completed in 1923 but it took until 1933 before the new church was inaugurated.

The church was formerly dedicated to Saint Germanus, but changed its name in 1928 because of the ancient worship of the Miracle Cross. The church was completely restored in 1990. In church...
