The Hof van Kamerijk or the Palace of Margaretha of York is a building in the Belgian city of Mechelen. It is located next to the Church of Saint Peter and Paul and opposite the Court of Savoy, the residence of Margaret of Austria. Margaretha of York settled in Mechelen after the death of her husband Charles the Bad in 1477.

Hof van Kamerijk or the Palace of Margaretha of York

Mechelen was the richest city in her widow gift. Later the palace was called the Emperor's Court because there were princes and princesses staying here and also the later Emperor Charles V. The building included a courtyard, a garden, a council hall, stables, a bounce track, a shooting range and a bathroom.
