About

The Brugmann Park () is a public park in the Brussels-Capital Region.

History: The park is located between the Burgemeester Herinckxlaan, Messidorlaan, the Sukkelweg and the Pink Hoevelaan. The domain was owned by Georges Brugmann (1829-1900), a banker who was co-responsible for the urbanisation of the still rural municipalities of Uccle, Vorst and Elsene. The beech forest was handed over by the heirs to the municipality of Uccle with the intention of turning it into a public park. The park has a large height difference and contains a number of ancient beech and some very old plane trees. There is a VITA course and a small playground.
