The Boekenbergpark is located in Deurne-Zuid (Antwerp) on the Eksterlaar, between the Unitaslaan and the Van Baurscheitlaan (access swimming pond). The park is 10 hectares large and was built around 1800 around an outdoor residence in rococo style as huge kitschdecor of folly's. The ruin tower and cave complex with underground boathouse and ice cellar have been preserved and accommodate the Natural History Museum Boekenberg and a speleological foundation. Today, the park is maintained as a mini-forest, i.e. nature in this park can go ahead within certain limits because only necessary management takes place.

The most important building in the park is the Boekenberg Castle, a court of plaisance from the 18th century (the first settlement dates back to the 16th century).

Playground: The playground in Boekenbergpark is a playground in a green environment, it was completely renewed in 2012 for safety reasons.
