The Arenbergschouwburg is a theatre in the Latin Quarter of Antwerp. The hall was the original festive hall of the Cercle artistique, littéraire et scientifique d.A. The house The town of Sevillien in Arenbergstraat was converted in 1864 according to the plans of architect Eugene Gife.

After the renovation, a solemn inauguration was held on 18 August 1873 by King Leopold II and Queen Maria Hendrika. In 1929 the party hall was converted into a theatre. In the 1960s, the hall was renovated and it became the current form.

Halfway through the 1990s and in 2016 and 2022 further renovations were carried out, both in the halls, foyer and entrance hall. The large hall has a capacity of 800 people with a parterre and a balcony. The hall is shaped like a half oval.

The small room, the Blackbox, has a telescopic stand for 92 sitting spectators or can accommodate 150 people without a stand. In 2016, there were 82,651 visitors. The hall was managed until 1 January 2018 by the Autonomous Province of Arenbergschouwburg of the province of Antwerp, which purchased the building in 1968.
