Batimont Solar Park - formerly Albert Park, Versluys Arena and Diaz Arena - is a football stadium located in Mariakerke, a district in the West Flemish seaside town of Ostend. It was home to KV Ostend until this club filed for bankruptcy in 2024. Since then it is home to KV Diksmuide Ostend.
History: In 2007, the stadium underwent a partial renovation, reducing its capacity by about 3,000 places. Tribunes C and D were converted into sitting courts, and the stand gallery (E) was covered. Following the promotion to the highest football division, in spring 2013, an additional (temporary) gallery was put into operation. For example, the stadium met all requirements for First Class football (minimum 8,000 places, including 5,000 seats). Following a number of interventions in 2014 and 2015, a new, thorough renovation took place in spring 2016: the main tribune (A), bleacher B and the temporary gallery were demolished to make way for one integrated main tribune with some 3,700 seats. The stand tribune, side E, was also demolished, and made way for a sitting tribune with a small 1,500 seats....
