Archief en Museum voor het Vlaams Leven te Brussel
The Archive and Museum of Flemish Life in Brussels (AMVB) was founded in 1977. It is a pluralist archive institution within the Brussels-Capital Region that acquires, manages, examines and unlocks the moving and intangible heritage of Brussels, Dutch-speaking organisations, persons and families. The AMVB is located on the Arduinkaai in the centre of Brussels.
The collection consists of archives, a sound bank, digital sources, a heritage collection, a collection of Brussels magazines and a repository on the heritage of organisations, persons and families related to Brussels history. The AMVB publishes a twice a year home magazine called Arduin. This homepage is linked to the interim electronic newsletter @rduin, which aims to keep the members of the AMVB up to date, including the sections PRJCT (projects), CLLCT (collection) and BRSSL (Brussels).
Besides temporary exhibitions, the AMVB organises lectures, educational and scientific projects and museum evenings and participates in numerous activities such as Erfgoeddag, Zot-van-de-Zennedag...
