Recogne German war cemetery

The German Soldiersfriedhof Bastogne-Recogne is a military cemetery near the Belgian hamlet of Recogne in the city of Bastenaken. There are 6.807 German soldiers who died in World War II. The cemetery is just east of the hamlet, on the south side of the road to Foy.

On the east side of the site borders a small municipal cemetery. At the entrance is a chapel with tower, built in red sandstone. The cemetery is maintained by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge.
