The Christ-King Church is a parish church for the Bruges districts of Kristus-King and Stübbenkwartier.

History: At the beginning of the twentieth century, the part of the municipality of Sint-Pieters-op-de-Dijk, which was attached to Bruges in 1899, was ürbanized according to a design by German urban planner Hermann-Josef Stübben. Two districts were built along both sides of the Scheepsdalelaan: a residential residential residential area called Kristus-Koning and a district for industry and more modest homes, called Stübbenkwartier. By Royal Decree of 10 November 1927, the parish of Christ-King was established for both districts. The Brouwer family donated land in today's Gerard Davidstraat and in 1928 built an emergency church, designed by architect Antoine Dugardyn. She was inaugurated on March 21, 1930. In 1930, 4,450 m2 of land was purchased, north of the Gouden Boomstraat, in order to build a permanent church. The design was entrusted to the same Antoine Dugardyn, assisted by Luc Vierin.
