Baudelo Chapel

The Baudelokapel is the former chapel of the abbey of Baudelo, on the Ottogracht of the Belgian city of Ghent. Anno 2019 the chapel has been removed from the worship and transformed into a market.

History: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played organ in the chapel when he visited the city in 1765. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the chapel was for some time a library, the Baudelobibliotheek. From 1979 it was empty until it was transformed into a market at the beginning of the 21st century.
