Abeele Aerodrome Military Cemetery is a British military cemetery located in the Belgian village of Abele, Poperinge. The cemetery is located on the Dodemanstraat 1 km southwest of the village center (church of Our Lady-Immaculate-Reception). The rectangular walled terrain is 864 m2 and is accessible via a 100 m long grass path. The cemetery was designed by George Goldsmith and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is barely 100 metres from the French border and was near the Ypres front during the war.

History: The cemetery was built in April 1918 by French troops who participated in the battles of the Leie. American and British were also buried in July and September of that year. After the armistice, the French and American killed were gathered elsewhere, leaving only the dead of the Commonwealth. 25 more graves were transferred from the nearby cemetery of the French Boeschepe.
