The Traversette or pertuis du Viso tunnel (in Italian, Buco di Viso, in Piedmontese Përtus dël Viso) is a 75 m long pedestrian tunnel at the Franco-Italian border at an altitude of 2,900 m. Created at the end of the 15th century, it is considered the first Alpine breakthrough.
