château de Blandy-les-Tours
Blandy-les-Tours Castle is a castle located in the municipality of Blandy-les-Tours in the Seine-et-Marne department, 70 km from Paris, and not far from Vaux-le-Vicomte castle. This building was built between the 13th and the second half of the 14th century. From the simple fortified manor house to the Hundred Years' War castle, from the residential castle to the Farm of Tours, the Blandy-les-Tours castle has had a long history and was owned by prestigious families.
Acquired in 1992 by the Seine-et-Marne departmental council, it was the subject of restoration campaigns and archaeological excavations until its reopening in 2007. This castle now engages a permanent dialogue between heritage and artistic creation.
