The castle of Puilaurens () is a former castle known as "cathare", which is now in ruins and remains of the French commune of Puilaurens in the department of Aude in the Occitan region. The ruins of the castle are classified as historical monuments by order of 12 August 1902. All the remains of the castle of Puilaurens, namely the access chicanes, the barbacan and the firing stations and all the elements of the enclosure were inscribed by order of 27 December 2023.

Puilaurens Castle

A new classification order of 6 November 2024 replaces the registration order of 2023. He is a candidate for the UNESCO heritage registration together with the city of Carcassonne, all the Royal Fortresses of Languedoc, the "Five Sons of Carcassonne" of which he is a member with the castles of Aguilar, Peyrepertuse, Quéribus and Termes and also with the castles of Montségur and Lastours.
