About

The Abreschviller Forest Railway is a former railway network for the exploitation of the Abreschviller Forest in the Vosges Massif in Moselle. Today, part of this network has been converted into a tourist online. Former steam or diesel trains run on this narrow line of 0.70 m and 6.1 km long, which winds through the Red Saar valley. Abreschviller was also the culmination of the Sarrebourg normal track line - Abreschviller, closed in 1991, now downgraded and deposited.

Tourist offer: Trains run from April to October in regular or additional service; Events are organized on an ad hoc basis.
