Musée du Plâtre

About

The Musée du Plâtre is a place of exchange and resources on plaster and building materials through the diversity of its collections, library, archives and iconotheque. The themes covered are geology around the gypsum and the Paris Basin, the memory of Lambert's career, the history of plaster companies and territories, the crafts and plaster arts, moulding and sculpture, the workshop fund of the sculptor Boulogne. After the closure of the Reunited Museums of Cormeilles-en-Parisis, the secretariat and library moved to Deuil-la-Barre (Val-d'Oise) in 2022 at the invitation of the municipality. The collections were set aside, awaiting a new museum project.
