The Costières Stadium is a sports arena located in Nîmes, Gard department, Occitanie region. Built to the south of the city, the district called Les Costières, it owes its name to the wine plateau of Costières, which extends south of Nîmes for nearly forty kilometers. It is the main sports equipment of Nîmes and the playground of the Olympic Nîmes from its inauguration on 15 February 1989 to 2022.
Managed by the municipality of the city of Nîmes, it has undergone some renovations. All the stands at the current stadium were built between 1987 and 1989, bringing its capacity to 15,788 seats. Thirtieth French stadium to the number of seats proposed, the enclosure was also used for rugby matches to XV.
From 2022 and the withdrawal of the Olympic Nîmes to the Antonin stadium, the stadium is now abandoned.
