Écomusée Te Fare Natura

The Ecomusée Te Fare Natura is located in Opunohu Bay on Moorea Island in French Polynesia. Its objective is to present scientific and cultural knowledge on Polynesian island ecosystems and more generally in the South Pacific. Exploited by the École pratique des hautes études (EPHE) and inaugurated on 27 July 2021 by President Emmanuel Macron, Te Fare Natura was born from an original idea of researchers from the Centre de Recherches Insulares et Observatoire de l'Environnement (CRIOBE) and supported by the Government of French Polynesia.
