Viaduc of Costet

The Costet viaduct is a 285 m long railway viaduct that allows the crossing of the Allier via the Saint-Germain-des-Fossés line at Nîmes-Courbessac. It is located in the territories of the communes of Mazeyrat-d'Allier and Langeac in the department of Haute-Loire in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Launched in 1866 by the Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée (PLM), it is an art work still used by the Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF).
