The Nicéphore-Niepce Museum is a museum of the history of photography. It opened in 1974. It is labeled Musée de France and dedicated to the inventor of photography Nicéphore Niépce (1765-1833). It has been located since its origin in Chalon-sur-Saône, Saône-et-Loire (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté).
