About

La Malmaison is a villa in Cannes built on the Croisette in 1863 on the plans of architect Marius Blond to house the annex of the Grand Hotel (now Mondrian Cannes), then enlarged on the initiative of the Grand Duke Michel of Russia in 1901, the Circle of Golfers. Acquired by the municipality in 1970, it hosts the activities of the city's contemporary art centre.
