Juno Beach Centre is a museum located in Courseulles-sur-Mer, Calvados, Normandy, France. Located on Juno Beach, the very beach where Canadians landed on D-Day, June 6, 1944, alongside other Allied forces, the Juno Beach Centre presents Canada's role during the Second World War, particularly in Normandy. Opened in 2003 by a group of veterans and volunteers, the museum is a monument and educational centre to commemorate the role of Canadians during the Second World War. The museum is administered by the Juno Beach Centre Association (ACJB), a non-profit organization that offers historical and educational programs in Canada.
