About

The Catholic Church of Notre-Dame-du-Travail is a church classified as a historical monument since 2016, built by Abbé Roger Soulange-Bodin, located at number 59, rue Vercingétorix in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Built in replacement of a church in the Plaisance district that had become too small, completed in April 1902 by the architect Jules-Godefroy Astruc (1862-1955), it is remarkable for the use of an innovative metal frame and an apparent beams frame. His bell was reported from Sevastopol following the capture of the city (1855) during the Crimean War.
