The Aquascope is a French water park located in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, Vienna, adjacent to the Futuroscope amusement park, which opened on 15 July 2024. Its construction cost EUR 57 million. The water park is part of the Futuroscope Xperiences resort, which includes Futuroscope Park, Aquascope, a 6000-seat arena, a free-fall flight centre, three thematized hotels and a Space Loop restaurant.
Initial context: In 2011, the operation of the Futuroscope Park was taken over by the Compagnie des Alpes, which became the majority shareholder, allowing increased investment in the renewal of the park. Multi-annual development plans thus allow to increase attendance by creating major attractions including La Machine à voyager dans le temps des Rabbits Crétins in 2014, L'Extraordinaire Voyage en 2017, Target Mars en 2020.
