The alignment of the Douet is a megalithic alignment located on the island of Hoedic in the French department of Morbihan.

History: The alignment was systematically searched between 2003 and 2007 under the direction of Jean-Marc Large.

Description: The alignment is located on the north coast of the island of Hoedic, on a sandy slope that ends with a cliff. It consists of eight blocks of granite, large grains and fine grains, and extends 10 m in length, but the natural erosion of the cliff may have made the northeast end disappear. The stone line is oriented north-east/south-west (53°-233°) corresponding to the axis of sunrise to the summer solstice and the axis of sunset to the winter solstice. All blocks were extracted on site, extending natural diaclases with strikers, which were found in the vicinity during excavations, and by fire action (rubefaction tracks). The largest blocks are located at the ends of the alignment, the average block height is 1.18 m. Three blocks are distinguished by their natural shape and the arrangements they have enjoyed.
