The Alsace wine route is a tourist route that runs through the wine region. In 2019, it is labeled Vineyards & Discoveries. The Alsace wine route, inaugurated in 1953, extends over 170 kilometres and 119 agricultural communes, through the departments of Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin.

It is also the cradle of seven grape varieties and 51 large wines. Its emblem is white wine. It is an economic activity that is part of wine tourism.
