The Musée de l'École Polytechnique ou Mus It opened in 2018 to enhance and preserve the rich scientific and historical heritage of the establishment. The museum's collections came into being as soon as the school was founded in 1794, when "curiosities" of physics instruments and other educational objects were formed.
