alignement de Men Letionnec
The alignment of Men Letionnec is a former megalithic alignment largely ruined, located in Locmariaquer in Morbihan, France.
Characteristics: The alignment of Men Letionnec is located on the Kerpenhir tip, at the southern end of the Locmariaquer peninsula. It consists of a line of eleven granite steles integrated into the slope separating two plots. It is finished with a single erect stele, a menhir isolated from 3.5 m high migmatite.
History: The menhir was probably built in Neolithic 6,500 years ago. The alignment of Men Letionnec was inscribed as historical monuments on 24 July 2023, with the alignments of Kerpenhir and the menhir of Goémorent. Since 2025, it has formed a site of the megaliths of Carnac and the shores of Morbihan, which is well registered as a world heritage site.
