The Villa Lawrance (also known as Villa Schlumberger) is a historic villa located in the heart of Lawrance Park in Pau (Atlantic Pyrenees). Built in the mid-19th century in a Flemish and Germanic style, it symbolizes the time of the cosmopolitan resort in Pau, marked by the arrival of Alsatian families and then wealthy American. It has been a municipal property since 1940 and now houses the English Circle (since 2002) and the Béarn Academy (since 2019), while surrounded by a public park with centuries-old trees. and is an element of Palois heritage linked to the Anglo-American history of the city.
