ouvrage du Four-à-Chaux
The Four-à-Chaux is a fortified structure of the Maginot line, located in the commune of Lembach, in the French department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region. It's a big, second-class artillery structure with eight blocks. Built from 1931, it was destroyed during the fighting in June 1940, then by explosive tests during the German occupation, before being repaired at the beginning of the Cold War.
