The Abbey Church of Saint-Riquier is a major religious building in Picardia. Together with the collegiate Saint-Vulfran d'Abbeville and the chapel of the Holy Spirit of Rue, it is one of the most complete specimens of Gothic art flamboyant in Picardie maritime. As part of a larger monumental complex, the abbey was classified as historical monuments in 1840. Other rankings followed in 1960 and 1965 for elements attached to the abbey.
