Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintained cemetery
The Pheasant Wood Military Cemetery is a First World War cemetery in Fromelles (North). Its construction in 2009 and 2010 by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) to bury 250 British and Australian soldiers who died on 19 and 20 July 1916 in the Battle of Fromelles was accompanied by the Battle of Fromelles Museum, which opened in 2014.
