Limes Africanus
The Africanus Limes or Fossatum Africae is a set of Roman African defensive systems that span more than 750 km built to defend and control the southern borders of the Roman Empire in North Africa. It is considered to be part of the largest border system in Roman Africa. It is considered to have many similarities with the Hadrian Wall, one of the northern borders of the Roman Empire in Great Britain.
