abbatiale Notre-Dame d'Ambronay
The Abbey of Notre-Dame d'Ambronay or Church of Notre-Dame d'Ambronay is a Catholic church located in Ambronay. It was first used exclusively by the abbots of the abbey of Notre-Dame d'Ambronay before gradually becoming the parish church of Ambronay from the 1790s to replace the church of Saint-Nicolas which was on the present parvis of Notre-Dame d'Ambronay. In 2013, the church was used on the one hand by the cultural meeting centre and on the other as a parish church. The Abbey of Notre-Dame d'Ambronay is classified as historical monuments, through the classification of the Abbey.
