stade Jean-Laville
The Jean Laville Stadium is a football stadium located in Gueugnon, whose resident club is FC Gueugnon. Football Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas 01 played his Ligue 2 home matches from July to October 2015 during the renovation of the Marcel Verchère stadium. Opened in 1939, his record of crowding dates from May 9, 1979, when 16,876 paid spectators attended the reception of the RC Strasbourg in the quarter final of the Coupe de France de football.
In 2003, while the stadium has a capacity of 13,872 seats, renovations begin with the aim of meeting the standards imposed by the Professional Football League. The Western stand is rebuilt, with a capacity of 4,356 covered and seated seats. In 2007, the former Nord stand was demolished to be replaced by a new 3,000-seat stand including the club's changing rooms and offices, VIP lounges, restaurant, press and TV spaces, for a total cost of € 5,040 000.
The last two phases of renovation, which were to allow the stadium to accommodate 17,500 sitting spectators, were not completed. The stadium currently has 14,753 seats as follows:
