château de Brangues
The château de Brangues is a 17th and 18th century pleasure castle, which re-uses the remains of a former 14th century fortified house, which stands on the municipality of Brangues in the department of Isère in the Rhône-Alpes region. The castle is known for having been owned by the French playwright, poet and diplomat Paul Claudel, from 1927 until his death in 1955. It is sometimes referred to as " Domaine Paul Claudel". The building and its park are listed as historic monuments by order of 11 March 1964, renewed and updated on 6 February 2014.
