château de Salveterra
Salveterra Castle, or Opoul Castle, is a castle built by Jacques I of Aragon in the 13th century on the border between the Kingdom of France and the Kingdom of Aragon. Located at the top of a 400-metre high plateau, the building is intended to house an entire village with its activities. It is gradually abandoned for the benefit of the village of Opoul, and in the 21st century is a ruined monument accessible to hikers.
