Coatfrec Castle is located in the commune of Ploubezre in the Côtes-d'Armor department, south of Lannion, on the left bank of the Léguer. In the Middle Ages, the castle was used to defend the country accessible from the Léguer as well as the castle of Tonquédec upstream on the right bank and Runefau destroyed in 1525. The castle today under construction, is not open to the public, except exceptional event (like the 2013 Heritage Days).
