About

The Prehistoric Camp of Chassey is an archaeological site located at the site of a fortified village of the fourth millennium BC. Located on the territory of the commune of Chassey-le-Camp, it gave its name to the Neolithic civilization known as Chasseen but was sporadically occupied until the Middle Ages. The prehistoric camp was classified as historical monuments by order of 14 June 1932.
