Lillebonne Gallo-Roman theater

Lillebonne's ancient theatre is an ancient performance building located in the former town of Juliobona, now Lillebonne, France. Built in the first century by taking advantage of a hill on which it rests, it is rebuilt and enlarged in the second and third centuries before being transformed into a fortress at the end of the third century. Despite interruptions that sometimes lasted several decades, the theatre has been regularly searched since the beginning of the 19th century and, in the 21st century, only its scene, under the influence of a road, could not be studied. It was listed on the list of protected historical monuments in 1840.
