About

The Saint-Arbogast Church is a church partially classified as a historical monument located in Stutzheim-Offenheim, in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin, in the European community of Alsace. Built at the end of the 12th century or in the first third of the 13th century in Romanesque style, it was expanded in 1789-1790 during which the medieval nave was destroyed to build a larger nave. The bell tower, classified as historical monuments since 1898, is all that remains of the Romanesque church. It is characterized by its yellow ochre brick masonry and its very stripped style, signs of an economic construction.
