The Notre Dame de Mont-Roland shrine is a Marian pilgrimage site dating back to the 11th century, located on the hill called "Mont-Roland", in Jouhe in the Jura department.

Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Mont-Roland

Location: The sanctuary is located on one of the roads of Compostela, in the north of the Jura department, in the region Burgundy-Franche-Comté. It rises to 343 m above sea level on Mont-Roland hill, south of the commune of Jouhe. From this position, 5 km north of Dole, the most populated city in the department, it dominates the Jurasian massif, to the east, and the plains of Saône, to the north and west. It is accessible by road, via Jouhe or Monnières, motorways A36 (Ladoix-Serrigny - Germany) and A39 (Dijon-Est - Bourg-en-Bresse), via the Dole-Choisey interchange or Dole-Authume interchange, by rail, via the Dole-Ville train station (5 km), as well as by the air, via the Dole-Jura airport (10 km).
