About

The Jean-Sango Arenas, inaugurated in 1985, are the arenas of the city of Captieux located in the French department of the Gironde. They may contain more than 1,500 people.

Presentation: The date of their original construction, made of wood, varies by site: 1963 for some, 1964 for others, they were demolished during an Intervilles television show in 1966. The date of their hard reconstruction varies from 1990 to 1993. According to Jean-Baptiste Maudet, they were rebuilt in 1985.

Tauromachie and rugby: The city is part of the union of French taurines cities. In the arenas, in addition to the Taurin shows given in the first week of June, a day is devoted to rugby at XV.
