About

The Pair-non-Pair Cave is an adorned cave, discovered in 1881, which contains artistic representations dated more than 32,000 years before the present, attributed to the Aurignacian culture. Classified as historical monuments since December 20, 1900, the cave is the third adorned cave discovered, after Altamira and the Chabot Cave. His study established the age of betting engravings and the official recognition of prehistoric art. The cave is located in the commune of Prignac-et-Marcamps in France.
